Saturnus, 7 of Swords and the Ace of Pentacles

Today I thought it would be good to not only seek guidance from the magic of the Tarot, but also from the planets themselves. I've been extremely interested in what the planets have to say, what they represent and how they play a role in our lives. We're all familiar of the effects that Mercury can have on us, especially when it's in retrograde. We all feel the effects. So I thought I'd try to see if any of the planets wanted to shine some light on my current situation, and sure enough, good ol' Saturn popped up.

Saturn has been in contact with me for a minute. This planet represents containment, boundaries, and limitations. This planet controls the reality of time passing and the movement through life and toward death. What's interesting about this planet, also, is that it appears when we're dealing with important milestones throughout our journey. This is the second time that Saturn has appeared to me this year, and although I HATE being limited, I see what the point is behind it and why this needs to happen. I have a tendency to think I'm able to do everything, and I can. However, that doesn't mean that I'm MEANT to do everything. I have my limitations and I have my skill set. Those are my gifts to this world and those need to be cared and nurtured for so that they can grow and be strong to serve others. So, fine, I'll take it.

The set of cards that I pulled from my tarot deck were both in relation to business and service as well. The first card I pulled, the Ace of Pentacles, tells me that there is good luck on the horizon in terms of business endeavors and applauds me for the work I've done thus far. This is encouraging and extremely amazing to hear. The second card, the 6 of Swords, also has to deal with business. It seems that in order for the Ace of Pentacles to follow through, some work is needed to be done on my side. Not only do I need to plan things out, but I need to learn when to say no to some things, when to take a time out and take care of myself. I have a tendency to help others before I can help myself, mainly because I know I can handle the work at SOME POINT, but I don't always take those opportunities. If I don't take care of myself, I can't take care of others, and that's something I hear loud and clear! I'll get to work on it, yo.

Grateful and blessed to work with these energies and more than satisfied to apply their wisdom to my lessons. Thanks for stopping by and checking this out! More to come... Namaste, yo!
